Who they are

Charn Issara Development Public Company Limited is a Bangkok developer founded on 22 December 1989 and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand since 16 December 2002 under the ticker CI. The head office is in Charn Issara Tower II on New Petchburi Road. The company builds houses, villas and condominiums for sale, operates hotels and leases office and retail space, with projects in Bangkok, Hua Hin–Cha-am, Chiang Mai, Pak Chong–Khao Yai and Phuket.

On Phuket

• Sri Panwa: a luxury pool-villa resort and residence estate on Cape Panwa, at the south-eastern tip of the island. The hotel has operated since 2006 through the subsidiary Charn Issara Residence Co., Ltd. The estate combines pool villas and large three- to five-bedroom residence villas with full hotel service. The same subsidiary is now building the last four residential villas within the estate, designed by Habita.
• Sri Panwa Lagoon: a branded mixed-use community on more than 60 rai in Cherngtalay–Bang Tao, on Cherngtalay Soi 1. Pool villas surround a lagoon of more than 20 rai, and the plan includes a hotel, restaurants and Baba Lake Club. The Chino-Portuguese-inspired architecture is by Habita, the studio behind the original Sri Panwa. Phase 1 brings 16 Waterfront Pool Villas with three to six bedrooms and 14 three-storey Multi-Flex Houses on a 20-metre main road. This is the project we offer from Charn Issara.

Just north of the island, Baba Beach Club Phuket stands on Natai Beach in Phang Nga, 20 minutes from Phuket airport. It is a joint venture with Junfa Real Estate of China, developed and managed by the Sri Panwa team.

Track record

• Sri Panwa hotel open since 2006; a new pool-villa zone was completed in 2020
• Baba Beach Club Natai: hotel opened in late 2017, beachfront villas and pool villas completed in 2019
• Sri Panwa Lagoon: the subsidiary Issara Naporn Co., Ltd. held the foundation ceremony marking the official start of construction in April 2026
